Workflows and boards

Workflows connect multiple agents, tools, and processing steps into a continuous pipeline. They can ingest data, make decisions, request approvals, and present rich interactive results.

Running a workflow

You can launch an automated workflow from its conversation screen, card details, or share landing:

• Tap Run Workflow to start pipeline execution.
• If you need to halt execution while a workflow is in progress, tap Stop Workflow.
• Each step executes sequentially or in parallel depending on the workflow definition, carrying intermediate outputs forward to subsequent tasks.

The execution overlay

While a workflow is active, the app displays a real-time progress sheet:

• Step indicators show current execution status, highlighting active, completed, or failed steps.
• If you wish to terminate the run early, tap Stop.
• If a step requires clarification, custom parameters, or human judgment, the overlay halts with the status Needs your input, prompting you to answer before proceeding.
• If network access drops during a cloud-connected step, execution pauses safely and displays Paused — waiting for connection… until the device reconnects.

Results and interactive mini-apps

When all steps finish successfully, the run summary sheet confirms Workflow run complete:

• Step summaries: Review outputs, generated text, and attached artifacts from each step.
• Mini-app interactive views: Workflows can generate interactive boards and UI surfaces directly within the app. These mini-app views allow you to explore rendered charts, dynamic data tables, and interactive dashboards.
• Re-running: To trigger another execution with fresh data or updated parameters, tap Run Again on the execution overlay, or tap Run again directly from the mini-app view.
