Create an agent

You can build personal agents directly on your device, tailored to your workflows, data, and preferred AI models.

Where creation begins

The creation sheet is titled Create. You can open it in two ways:

1. Tap Create Agent under Mission Control on the Home tab.
2. Ask your Companion to create a new agent for you.

Note that the Agents tab does not have a create button; its only list-level action is Add Folder for organizing existing agents.

Creation modes

When the Create sheet opens, several creation options are available:

• Ask Companion: The recommended conversational builder. Describe what you want the agent to do in plain English. The Companion gathers your requirements, presents a summary card for you to confirm, and creates the agent for you.
• Manual Setup: Open the complete agent editor to customize the system prompt, select model providers, attach tools, and set thinking depth yourself.
• Build Workflow (Beta): Chain multiple agents and tools together into an automated multi-step pipeline.
• Quick Action (Beta): Build a single-purpose shortcut designed to execute one specific task quickly.
• Draft: Start with a blank document to outline notes, prompt ideas, or specifications.

Confirming and launching

When building through the Companion, the intake and confirmation prompts are generated conversationally. Once creation finishes, a destination card appears with options to Run it, Take me there, or Not now, allowing you to test the agent immediately or view its configuration.
